It's Not Over

If the world begins to crumble,

By Kat GarciaPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

If the world begins to crumble,

under my feet.

I promise to stand tall,

I promise not to retreat.

And if my heart can't take the pain,

I'll put my heart on my sleeve.

I'd let the world see

All the pain that I grieve.

If my lungs give out

and it gets hard to breathe,

I'll rise above the water

There ain't no suffocating me.

So if I have to stop and make a prayer,

I’ll take my time and just believe

That maybe someone, somewhere

Is watching over me.

I've always been a fighter

And I'll be damned if this is it.

I might fall apart,

But I’ll give it my all before I quit.
