Life is full
Of obstacles
Ups and downs
Seasons that can
Knock you
To the ground
But he’s there
Never more
Than a prayer
Away.

And there
Are those
Times
When the world
Feels like
It’s painted
In vibrant colors
God’s masterpiece
Spread before our
Eyes.
~~~
And there are
Those times
When the Lord
Shows
Us beauty
In the broken
Places
When we hit
Our knees
And cry out
Finding comfort
In his embrace.
