In the realm of toxic love, we once were bound,
A whirlwind of emotions, like a tempest unbound.
Through the sadness and tears, we learned to cope,
But it was time to let go, to find a glimmer of hope.
Moving on from a love that was toxic and cruel,
Our hearts bore the scars, like the marks of a duel.
In the aftermath of heartbreak, we stood so tall,
Ready to embrace a future, love's sweetest call.
Though sadness once lingered, like a relentless storm,
We discovered our strength, in love's graceful reform.
With every step forward, we left pain behind,
In the arms of new love, our hearts intertwined.
