It's been a while
Muddled, tired, hoping for the best
It's been a while
I've almost forgotten how to smile
Smiling just enough to mask my troubles,
tired to the extent where my vision doubles.
Placing my best foot forward to see where it leads me,
Living with the wrong decision no matter which path I take as far as I can see.
Just a little blurb, a memoir, a short little diary entry to let others know I am still here,
Trying to tie all my strings and loose ends together as the future draws near.
Discontent, disheartened, disillusioned by the current state and progression of the world,
Having difficulty adjusting and just wanting to sleep forever, nice and curled.

I’m striving to seek moments of pleasure in my daily routine. I think we think and process the world very similarly though.
Relatable. I can sense your exhaustion. Take care of yourself!
This poem is packed with so much emotion that it's nearly tangible.
