IT

IT… is almost everywhere

In us, underground… in the air

Seventy percent of US… is IT

From our blood, to our very own spit

Everyday, we need IT to drink

Though, IT usually comes from the sink

Less than two percent of IT is usable

And sadly the rest of IT is unsuitable

Seventy five percent if IT makes up earth

We should never take for granted ITs worth

IT can take many different forms

Ice, vapor, even rain from storms

IT… is water… H2O

Agua, wasser, l’eau…

The list could go on and on

Believe it or not, once… up-on,

A time, the water was safe to consume

Straight from the water I assume

IT… is a lot more important than you think

As there is little water we can actually drink

Now we have a combined sewer system

Water treatment… to protect every organism

Treatment: chemicals, flocculation, and filters

Protect us from pathogens… the killers

Many people, all over the world suffer

From poverty, and lack of clean water

Pollution continues to destroy the the planet

Raise awareness and clean before we all panic

Fixing our environmental problems won’t be simple

But if we work together we’ll get out of this pickle.
