Scattered across life's vast expanse

We stand as islands, alone and apart

Each with our shores, our peaks and valleys

Waiting for the sea to embrace our heart

The search may be long, the journey slow

As we scan horizons for our perfect match

Patience builds the bridge we long to catch

Like grains of sand forming a beach
