He asked me,
"What is love to you?"
So I said: "Love is a million things"
Love is when you look for reasons
to accept the pain you go through,
Love is when you put your pride aside
and give them a hug that feels warm.
Love is when you're addicted to them
even when they ignore you easily for weeks,
Love is when you accept that they become a
dark cloud over your head and you acknowledge
that it rains on you heavily.
As I am reading what I am writing,
I now ask myself, "Is this what love really is?"
Is love all about dealing with hurt? because to accept pain,
then that means we know how to love, right?
