The past cannot be rewritten; its purpose is to protect the present and prevent us from repeating the same mistakes. Unfulfilled wishes should liberate our desire for love, not bind it. These are merely scenery along life's journey. They come and go, that's all. There's no need for obsession or sadness.

People often express their pain by blaming others instead of themselves. But I don't understand this. It is my own thirst for love that creates all the pain in my heart. This constant internal debate – "I want to do this, I don't want to do this," or "Do this, don't do that" – keeps my heart in a state of pain and struggle. If I didn't have this obsession, why would there be any suffering?

So, when suffering arises, the first person to introspect should be oneself.
