Is the heart or the head champion of the ring?
Lust or love? Huh? What?
My Heart and Mind had a discussion one dayAbout a man that they both knew quite well.
The heated discussion continued for hours,Both with arguments meant to compel.
A debate continued between the two,With each taking a different perspective.
The Heart believed the man to be true, And the Mind thought he was deceptive.
Weeks passed on between the two, still struggling to come to a conclusion. Nothing was mentioned between them two but catching him on Grindr was a diffusion.
My heart wanted to see the best, a warm And loving young man. but the mind was right, it could have guessed. So that mile I should have ran.
