The moon laughs at me outside my window,

While I nurse my sore head;

In the middle of the night,

I found myself upside down!

I couldn't move;

My covers around me,

They twisted;

Around,

Around,

And around.

Oh dear!

My feet are knotted,

Do my covers have invisible vines?

Or,

Are they rotted?

Is it a full moon?

As weird as it sounds,

I think I'm still asleep;

But quick!

I need to get to the loo,

Before my feet turn blue!

I turn on my lamp,

And walk to the door,

Thump!

Who put that wall there?

How dare it give me a great forehead stamp!

I finally get to the loo,

And I head back to bed,

After a great big poo!

Shit!

I wake up,

Needing another nightmare trip to the loo.

Hey ho!

It must be a full moon!

    This is hilariously relatable! If the moon is laughing, it’s probably because it knows it’s the boss of all weird nights like this.✨
