Is Art Even Creative Anymore?

Stop Fulfilling Someone Else's Dreams

By James B. William R. LawrencePublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Save the bullshit, I've heard it enough - about how I should create in the service of fluff.

Euphemisms which say that in order to be read, seen, heard, we in our hearts must stray.

It seems real literature died long ago, faded and lost, amplifies the sadness harkens my soul.

To fickle systems, schematics, dedicated are we, to achieve a bar having set itself against art being free.

So Vocal please, advocate for art that comes from the soul - expressions that Tolkien would say GLITTER IN GOLD.

Find a way for average wayfarers to write free, receive an audience despite unsubscribing from styles of work foreign to me.

Artistic creativity desperately wishes to be free, so furnish a place where those hitting walls don't succumb to disgrace (let that be this place).

Pulp, trite, smut articles might need to go, but until then give us a platform to really let truth come into control.

All pure art, creativity need is to be uncontrolled.
