Introspection; Changing Head Space Delusions
Epistolary Challenge

Dear imposter,
Why must you always seize the upper hand
Robbing untapped joy
Is your intent to simply annoy
Or do you have a theme
Please, tell me your brand
Are things not what they seem
Do you bask in the comfort of a convoy
*
Dear great pretender,
Who is your supervisor; we need to talk
Do they hide behind a desk
Laughing at your work; burlesque
Fake news lead editor
Writes your assignments in chalk
Slate eraser yet your biggest monitor
I admire strength, not Reaganesque
*
Dear fraud influencer,
Do you hand-pick vulnerable targets
While snickering to yourself
Drunk on mischief, evil maniacal elf
Eye spy taking down the regular guy
Working the night shift with no regrets
Answer to probing, why ask why
Consumer-driven or a self-served market
*
Dear trickster,
The one pulling all the weighted strings
You are not a person; merely a thought
A pushy sales pitch, mind screenshot
Donned apparel: insecurity
Lose the gear and spread your wings
Purge the poison, find purity
Among the world of queens and kings
*
Dear one, hopelessly looking in the mirror
Struggling with reflection
Negative thoughts precede projection
Self-sustained subpar stepping
Bashing sequences in mind space terror
An altered ego will take prepping
One internal journey; introspection
Love, a kindred soul ❤️
PS: The imposter, the great pretender, the fraud influencer, and the trickster all once took up residence in me until they were evicted!
PPS: Now, I am friends with the girl in the mirror
