Life and soul of the party
Good time girl
Bohemian sort, so arty
Festive face pearl motivates the crowd
Get up and dance, do her proud
Beautifully wild, a ray of light shines an inner grace
Suitably styled, smiling face
Night-time cracks into dawn
Where is the STOP button
Curtains firmly drawn
She looks dressed in mutton
Sleep becomes comatosed
Makeup and clothes, raggedy
Boozed-induced overdose
Each time plays a tragedy
Torments reek of decay
Self-loathing, self-destruction
Fear screams throughout the day
I AM my worst enemy
Party girl
Beautiful and pretty
Decade after decade, honour swayed
Emotional health, way too gritty
Look at those massive lies
Just another girl from the city
enough is enough,
she cries

Oooo, dresses in mutton, I especially loved that!
The rhythm of this piece pulls you in, but it’s the raw honesty that lingers. There’s such a striking contrast between the glittering mask and the internal collapse, and you handled that tension with vivid, aching clarity. The line “I AM my worst enemy” felt like a gut punch.
This hit so deep — raw, real, and heartbreakingly beautiful. The contrast between the outer sparkle and inner struggle is powerfully captured. 🌑✨ So many will see themselves in these lines but never find the words — you’ve given them a voice. “I AM my worst enemy” … haunting and true. Thank you for sharing this piece of your soul. 🖤📝
