Interconnected Love

A poem

By Josée LabergePublished 5 years ago 1 min read

This is it, infinite peace

It does not come from wisdom

It does not come from power

It does not come from possessions

It does not come from another

It comes from love

But not romantic love

Interconnected love

The kind of love

That encompasses all things

All beings, all places, all creatures

The kind of love that lets you know

That you are never alone

For we are all one

We are one in our victories

We are one in our failures

We are one in sorrow and in joy

We are one in this life we lead

Our experiences are all connected

And if that doesn’t warm your aching heart

If that doesn’t warm your sunken soul

Then I will warm it for you

For it is mine also

And I love it all the same
