As gender fluid leaks all over these Downtown LA streets,

she winked at me from behind pre-op 3rd basemen’s eyes.

When she swung on by

all SWOLLEN with PRIDE

near 1st & Vigne,

her confidence made me wonder

Why?

Am I still so shy-,

in my own eyes-,

That I still can't share what I write?

Perhaps you could pass up the food chain an idea. An acceptation for poem type posts to 8 chars?

The current 100 word min. for a poem post is almost unreasonable. One of the objectives of poems, in my understanding, is to use as few words to convey a feeling or message etc --

Consider these poems by M. Ali (shortest known) or Robert Frost
