There is a friendship, tried and true,
which I have placed for your review.
A special bond, hard to be broken,
exists between paper and ink. No joking.
Imagine a friend, so dear and so true,
whatever the obstacle, they will stick with you.
Ink sticks to paper with everlasting commitment,
prepared for future struggles.
A tear, folds, wetness, and molds--
the ink bleeds to keep its bond strong with the paper.
The two become intertwined to exist as one,
until the destruction of both of their beings.
They realize this bond depends on agreeing.
The paper, alone, feels bare and exposed.
When ink comes along then it is clothed.
The paper gives ink a reflective space.
Ink builds them a future with the words placed.
Their bond works with mutual grace,
both giving unconditionally.
Ink without paper would have no place.
And paper without ink would be wasted space.
The two together achieve wonderful things.
Their possibilities are limitless.
Ink and paper are wonderful friends,
possibly much more.
