Rishikesh Diaries

By KaliPublished 5 years ago 1 min read
Rishikesh, India

Different minds, same answers

Different tokes, same gains

Different songs, same replay

Different wood chippings, same ashes

Different breeze, same breath

Different bodies, same contortionism

And it goes on and on until the difference settles in the resemblance of something

A snap breaks the point of contact

A word uttered louder turns into a breach of contract

A gaze, too judgemental snaps the eye contact to the bare minimum

An action thrown into the air in an inflamed way burns the bridge of affection: even the basic communication

So then once all is destroyed and burnt down

Wherever the commotion started, all the ashes lay scattered

It all mounted onto an unnecessary totem of fire ceremony

surreal poetry

About the Creator

Kali

Writing has been an inherent part of me: how I celebrate myself, how I lash out my anger, how I feel sensual, how I check my ego, how I evoke the darkest zest, how I heal, and how I connect to Divine Source.
