A sad love poem

Eclipsed by the Moon

Torn apart by the Sun

My heart aches in its longing for you.

With the rage of a mother tiger

The strength of a river,

This is mine love for you.

***

What you see on the outside

Is a reflection of the in?

Then the colors in the sky

They are the bruises

From my loss off you

Painted out for me to see every day.

***

And when the birds cry a sad song

They weep for what we once were

The dogs howl at the moon

Our bittersweet memories

***

To seeing you again someday.
