Infallible

Existence would cease to exist

By Daniel Oconnor Published 5 years ago 1 min read

The wave of narcissism

That you have been riding

Towards the beach of hypocrisy

Has been blatantly hiding

Everything that you say

Contradicts what you do

And this once if I may

Let me say this to you

You are not infallible

Not even close

For the dribble you babble

I can bear a small dose

When you rant and you rave

And laugh in my face

The only thing you can save

And hold sturdy in place

Is the belief that your right

But undoubtedly to me

Doesn’t haunt you at night

That you might be wrong or guilty

But I know if you were able

To entertain the idea

To lay it all on the table

So the truth would be clear

It’s ok to be wrong

Opinions you mustn’t fear

For we all have one

Not just you is that clear

About the Creator

Daniel Oconnor

My passion is words, when I write it usually takes no more than half an hour to bring to life what I’m thinking... if I leave it inside my head i obsess over the thoughts and they transform into something I can’t express...
