Indomitable Spirit

Lifting heart’s fog

By Colleen WaltersPublished 2 years ago Updated 2 years ago 1 min read

Open your eyes, my dear. Your morning has arrived, wrapped with mystery and calling to your exhausted heart.

The thick fog can’t hide the sunrise, we know she’s here because there is light. There is no fog more powerful than her searing stare as her light cascades from the heavens, and permeates every dark corner, dissolving the darkness.

She saw your tears last night through the moon’s reflection, and had you in mind when she came to us this morning. The fog can keep us from seeing clearly, but our hearts have perfect vision.

“ brave birds still fly through the fog.” Wow. Yes, they do. Their inner compass guiding them to their familiar places.

A thousand times the fog has kept you from seeing past your fears, and a thousand times the sun has chased it away just to give clarity to your heart and soul.So that you see that you’re loved beyond measure, you are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Those angels surrounding you in the moon’s light sing over you in adoration, exalting your very existence while you sleep. For a brief moment in time, your soul feels rest ,as they smooth the ragged edges of your heart before moon hands the sky over to sun.

Let your heart not be troubled. Joy always comes in the morning, because the brightest sunrise follows the darkest night. Even if it’s foggy. The fog wets the earth until the rain comes, and to allow the sun to show her power.

Sunlight brings flowers, moonlight brings tides, and Spirit brings hope.

The sun’s on her way through the fog. You’ve got this. Don’t give up. Today’s your day.
