Incredible Darkness of Being

Evil is not the Failure of Good

By Mark Stigers Published 5 years ago Updated 2 years ago 1 min read

Express your vileness as a vow.

A disdain of hateful Goodness.

Just what is it that you allow,

as a subject of your Darkness.

There is not a precious reward,

For you by hitting a certain mark.

Evil is not some magic detoured,

Just to do something dark.

Were your victims merely innocent?

Can you hear the wail in Heaven?

Or are you just belligerent,

because you aren’t of bad brethren?

You must decide on the dark deeds,

that are the hallmarks of your life.

How do you hope you can succeed,

if you can’t survive your own strife?

Evil’s not a failure of Good.

Your Evil is a righteous goal.

Are you sure you did all you could,

when you do not know how pay the toll
