Incite Fuels

How frequently we find that, with a change of lexicon and perspective, we have spent ages trading volleys not realizing we were simply furiously agreeing all along. The distance from tirade to trade is scarcely an I.

Are we to a one

More divided over our words

Than under standing them

It’s a very different game

When you’re punching up

Than when you are patting down

Too often insight and incite

Seethe world as a pair rent

While empathy is a practice

Love is a residence

Sympathy a scant nod

Lust a swift essence

Better to be a grow flake

Than a know flake

This is a fundamental error

In the seats of power

It is where the assumption

Meets the rode.

The futile and the politic -

Calmer karma is a chameleon

Having left it out of the mix

It may abide until a ladder day feint

It may abrade the tryst

That binds the wrist

It may bask until the steel

It may be witnessed by its won day prints

A bride with a die to cast future in a lava rage.

The trued abides.
