In Two Weeks

Your wedding is two weeks away,

for you, I'll continue to pray,

that all will go well with your new bride,

always in her joy, you will now surely abide.

Marriage is indeed sweet you'll soon find,

even though some days you'll feel as if you're in a bind,

for you won't be quite as free in some ways,

but with her, you will spend your days.

I do hope we'll stay close friends,

talking things out, like endless back road's bends,

for we have much in common and now we'll have even more,

as we see what this adventurous life actually has in store!
