In the Silence of Dissolution

-

By Karan w. Published 7 months ago 1 min read

A solitary soul, detached, kneels in peace
It's a rebellion against light itself
Breaths are lost in the remaining faint galaxies

The darkness was lost somewhere
It was immersed in absolute peace
On echo-less paths, emptiness has swallowed the darkness whole

Roaming between dreams and dark nights that will never return
The kindest end of all sensations has come to pass.

The soul bathes in the fog-dimmed sky
Dissolves into the perfumed breeze of a cooling wind
Then returns once more to the eternal shining star
The heart's rebellion wishes for the greatest gift

What a great piece of inspirational poetry. (May I ask a technical formatting question-How do I single space my poetry lines? I am typing the poetry book I published on Amazon and I really do not want to double space the whole book.)
