Time is running out
Death is creeping in
I humble myself seeking peace
Standing here alone in the rain
I gave you my all
Still you never saw me
Through the blood and tears
I reached for you
And you turn your head
As you walk away
Addicted to our pride
Never to admit your faults
Consumed in lies and hate
Still I longed for your love
For your approval
Rain and tears blend as one
As I realize that I am done
Time is running out
I need to be free
From these chains
