I stand where endings blur with starts,
a tender ache held in my heart.
The soil beneath is soft, unsure,
a ground that’s broken, yet still pure.
Each scar a map, each tear a seed,
reminders of what I still need.
The echoes call, but not to stay,
they guide me gently toward the way.
The light ahead feels far, unseen,
but whispers through the in-between.
It's not a race; it’s not a climb,
healing flows with patient time.
I’m learning now to trust the space,
the quiet moments, the slower pace.
To build a life from fractured stone,
to find my strength, to stand alone.
Not there, not lost, not standing still,
just moving forward by sheer will.
And though the dawn feels far from view,
I’ll learn to love this twilight, too.
