Fire rages in
Flashes, quelled by waters that
Yield to stone and earth

Rising in peaks and
Crumbling in the fire swells
Ash in whistling winds
-
Whisked a world away
By nature’s mighty promise
That strengths can buckle
-
Small, frail things can grow
Mountains form with passing time
And new trails appear
