In From the Cold

Frosted Verse Challenge

In from the freeze

With a tiny nosesicle sneeze

Marshmallowy hot cocoa

To set me at ease

S’mores by the fireplace

Sitting on a shaggy rug

Snuggling up to my lover

For a nice wintry hug

Through frosted pane

A white washed scene

Jack Frost’s lovely blanket

World made pristine

Crystal ballerinas

Pirouette in the wind

A winter ballet

Too soon to end

Each dancer unique

Their patterns sublime

As they sway to music 🎼 in

Perfect harmonic time

Slip off my shoes

Wiggle frosty toes

As a crackling fire

Eases my woes

First frost of the season

A time to reflect

Thankful for a hearth

The cold to deflect

Holiday
