In Every Life, It’s You

No matter where I go, no matter who I meet, my heart will always find you.

By Kashif WazirPublished 3 months ago 3 min read

Even if the world changes, even if time carries me far away, it is always you I find. Across the endless flow of moments, across lifetimes I may never remember, my soul remembers you. I have lived many lives in my dreams, imagined many roads I could walk, yet every path leads me back to you. There is a familiarity in your presence that no one else can match—a quiet understanding, a comfort that feels like home. I do not need to search; my heart knows where to go.

I have loved and lost in ways that left scars, yet through every sorrow, a small voice whispered your name. Even when my eyes wandered, even when my hands touched others, it was always you that lingered. There is a truth in love like this: it cannot be replaced. People may come and go, but some connections exist beyond time, beyond chance, beyond understanding. They are written into the rhythm of the universe, and I am certain that ours is one of them.

I see you in the smallest details—in a smile that reminds me of a memory I cannot name, in a song that plays softly in my mind, in the quiet spaces that feel too empty without you. You are in my laughter and my tears, my dreams and my silence. You are the constant melody in the symphony of my life, the light that guides me even when the night is long. Even in lives I do not remember consciously, I feel you—the pull of recognition, the sense of familiarity that cannot be denied.

Sometimes I imagine meeting you in a different time, a different place. Perhaps we meet as strangers on a crowded street, or as friends who share quiet conversations under the stars. Perhaps we meet in a world I cannot yet see, a life I have not yet lived. But the moment our eyes meet, I would know. My heart would remember, my soul would sigh in relief, and the world would make sense again. There is a certainty in this, a promise that some bonds are eternal.

Even when distance separates us, even when circumstances keep us apart, it is always you I feel. I carry you quietly, like a secret treasure hidden in my chest. You are in my thoughts when the day is bright, and in my dreams when the night is quiet. I do not need proof, I do not need signs; I know your presence is there because my heart recognizes it, because it remembers a connection that words could never fully describe.

There are moments when I doubt, when life feels confusing and uncertain. Yet even in those moments, your name surfaces softly, reminding me that love like ours cannot be shaken. It is patient, enduring, and invisible to anyone who does not understand its depth. It is not bound by lifetimes, by appearances, or by reason. It is a force that exists quietly but powerfully, and it always finds a way to remind me of its presence.

I have learned that true love is not about possession. It is about recognition, about understanding, about finding each other again and again, no matter the circumstances. It is about the quiet knowledge that even when everything else changes, some hearts are meant to meet, and some souls are meant to intertwine. And ours is one of them.

Even if life were to rewrite itself, even if we were born in different times, I would seek you. Even if I forgot everything else, I would remember you. Even if the world told me otherwise, my heart would know the truth—that in every life, in every version of existence, it is you. You are my constant, my anchor, my home. No one else could ever replace the imprint you have left on my soul.

And so, I live with this quiet certainty. I walk through each day carrying the knowledge that love like ours is not fleeting. I smile at strangers, I dream new dreams, I experience new joys—but always, somewhere deep inside, there is a space reserved for you. Because in every life, it is you who matters. In every life, it is you who my soul will seek. In every life, it is you I will find.
