Michael: My dear, I love you.... you know that I do.
Carmen: Of course I know and I love you too.
Michael: I reminisce of the old days when we gazed at the stars….
Carmen: Yes, it seems distant as you lay in my arms.
Michael: My dear are you happy... with the way things turned out?
Carmen: I'm unsure, but it's too late to have any doubt.
Michael: Was this your plan from the day we were wed?
Carmen: To love you and hold you is what I had said.
Michael: Please do tell... this unseemly demise, am I someone whom you truly despise?
Carmen: Despise? Oh no, you're the love of my life. I meant every word when I declared as your wife.
Michael: Then why, oh why did you pierce my heart so?
Carmen: In your last moments you needn't to know.
Just know it's a victory I'll keep to myself.
In place of a child who had called out for help.
Attempting to fathom, you needn't to bother.
I'm sorry you've paid for the sins of your father.
Michael: I'm afraid it's the end... Will I remain in your heart? I hope as years pass this will tear you apart—
Carmen: Oh my dear, I'm sure that it will. Many times I'd hoped time would stand still.
However. No matter, it's the path I have chosen
I'll remain trapped in the web that I've woven.
But truly this remains such a heartbreaking sight
I wish you farewell dear, and a final goodnight.
