In Dreams, She Comes

...

By Muhammad AbdullahPublished 7 months ago 1 min read

She strolls where night shadows fall,

In the garden space of my dreams–

A kind reveals, a gentle ease;

The stars arise to match her pace.

In stillness, I cherish her light.

Yet part ways in twilight’s embrace.

Her tone paints melodies the heart knows too well;

Calm and simply a spirit as clear.

Casting dew brings to mind waters anew—

She bestows bluer hues on my daytime shrouds.

So warm, so near; so vividly hazy.

Vanishing happens when dawn draws dreary.

Bountiful blessings born from honesty,

As youth finest blooms of spring kind and free

Though wreathed in dreams, her hands heal time’s fray;

While laughing dimples calm fears away—

With boundless grace life’s burdens she bears.

A flickering beacon, chasing never stares.

To breathe beneath heavens with words unfurl,

Drawn wakes stakes rosy-hued eyes—

For this phantom kissed by chance drives me wild.

Vowing winds embrace her destined sway

Transforming fantasies to tangibles someday

Bearing unseen to nobody on loud praise

Charmed phantasm formed fondant crafted love's haze.

Hand in hand daydreams glide lucidly set free—

Awaiting every dusk until heart forgotten, undone

Regardless of starting with nothing,

My personal battles are something to be cherished.
