In a world full of Color...What am I?

When I was born

Many years ago

The world that I know

Has ever evolved.

You see, I was born

Unlike most

a Rubella baby!

I fooled everyone

Not meaning too.

A behavior problemed child, they said.

Oh, no said mom

It's not that!

It’s hearing loss I have

It's a part of me.

I overcompensate with sight

So if you see me

Looking high in the sky

It's only that I love looking up!

But I, unlike you, share the hues

In all shades of Blue!

Allowing me to be

Calm

Sparkly

Quiet

Loud

I, unlike you, get very tired of all the noise.

My hearing aid is forever going

My brain strains to piece it all

When there is too much noise

I find a calm blue

And shut it all out.

And there are days

I look at both

the sunrise and the sunset

In awe

I immerse myself

The renewal

The ending

Its cycle amazes me

With all the dazzling colors.
