Whatever I was going to say lost importance
Everything is brighter with his light
His smile
His laugh
"Mumzy, I love you."
I remember now
"I love you too"
Totally not what I was ready to say
The most valuable words were spoken

Talking to my grandson and having him as my biggest fan is one of the greatest joys in my life. I wrote this after a short call when he was so excited to talk to me I couldn't get a word in.
