Implosion

Shattered

Implosion

We imploded violently inward

A sudden dramatical end

External pressures whispered

Words we could not defend

Left here in pieces

Nothing to save

Time freezes

Leaving

Shards

Breaking up is hard to do as Neil Sedaka used to sing.

This is a powerfully evocation of the moment beyond which there can be no return. Really exceptional writing buttressed by that disturbing pic!

Such strong imagery of shattering! Another great nonet!

  • I think we have a whole lot of damage to work on; how many of us had such brutal endings? A nonet of betrayal so cutting..."shards". Love how you express your pain.

  • That was so painful. Loved your Nonet!

When everything's broken, there's nothing left but shards. Wonderful entry, once again.

  • How apt for Vocal at this particular time…. 😉😂 Very nice
