IMPERFECT {ii}

IMPERFECTION vol.2

By QuilledpenPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

Some never stole any money,

Admired millionaire Playboy or a bunny,

The sky is always blue and sunny,

Just don't expect that from me,

Some never been violent or hurt any person,

The words from their mouth are never swearing,

They heal the hurt and water the thirsty,

Their hands are always caring, tender and nursing,

Some never get distracted,

Have never masturbated,

Never frustrated,

If really God created;

Some doing great with no mistake,

Their faith is never shaken,

Full of honesty, with their words never doubted,

Some have no time for shouting,

Their lips are never cursing,

I hate to burst your bubble,

Me I have plenty trouble,

My life is rolling in rubble,

Too many things to do,

I got eviction letters,

There's money owed to debtors,

Ignored my intuition,

Could not afford tuition,

I've given God conditions,

I've slandered my religion,

I blinked and lost my vision,

I thrived on superstition,

But still I call the saviour,

With all of my behaviour,

Love has persisted over each characteristic

Hence the imperfections in me…
