Imperceptible Kids

like Alice in the rabbit hole.

Imperceptible kids fall

through the breaks of the framework

like Alice in the dark hole.

However, these kids won't find

an eat-me cake or a beverage me bottle.

They won't awaken on the lap

of a caring sister.

They'll wake them up to the hand

of a beast called Carelessness

who'll jab them with its sharp teeth

what's more, lure them with its coldblooded giggling,

like something wild in a wild uproar.

Yet, the youngsters will not alert

to the smell of a warm dinner,

nor will they track down a purple pastel

to draw a break entryway or a window.

All things being equal, they'll make a mirror

of a dim puddle on the city road

which won't let them know they're lovely

be that as it may, it'll show their scars, as imperceptible to other people

as these kids are.
