If I ever die, let these colours immortalize,

the things that made me cry and the joy behind my eyes.

I’ll paint little yellow flowers for the days I was happy,

and angry red blobs over times that were crappy.

I’ll smear the paint all over, and you might not think it wise,

but I’m hoping that my choice of colour will cause your heart to rise.

I’ll use purples, oranges and greens, cause that’s just who I am,

And when you look at this painting, I hope you taste strawberry jam.

Passion will be pink and boredom will be grey,

I really want this painting to represent my each and every day.

Well that’s all the time that I’ve got for this rhyme,

may the colours immortalize me, so we never need say goodbye.
