Immortality. Immorality.

A million and one questions about the meaning of humanity

Somewhere written in stone,

Where pulsars twinkle,

And diamonds outlast platinum,

You want your name scrawled in the city of angels,

Where they are wingless yet touch the sky.

You want to be immortal,

But isn't it immoral to disturb nature?

You want to be undefeated, untouchable, and alive,

But is it not saner to draw the line somewhere?

Do we have the wrong “eternal”?

Would we sleep forever?

Would we lose our minds?

Would we truly be alive?

Could we stand to watch time pass by?

Finally...

If we could be ageless,

Would life still be priceless?

If we could be timeless,

Would you still believe that we are precious?
