IMAGINING

By - Adrian Piedra Martinez

By ADRIAN PIEDRA MARTINEZPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Laying there,

Soaked in my soul

I don’t like that you run

From me

I remember we were

By the sea

You hug me all day long but

Don’t let me be

A glance our souls took

You felt it,

I felt it

I thought we both knew

But here we are,

Its midnight

In my bed,

Intertwined

I like your style

Always breaking records

But mostly my heart

I never took you for a fool

You knock on wood

You knock on wood

Your feelings unhinged

You’re going to lose me,

I thought I knew you
