I can see things happen as they happen

imagination spreading in all directions

like the RKO Radio tower

announcing a Saturday matinee

*

I ride a contrail scarred sky to see

the dying sun slip behind skylines of purple and black

a colbalt screen trails along - lavish with stars

and the snaking moon comes out to bask

*

All of us - spiraling the inimitable cosmos

where the timid dare not enter

where a halfway point between

freedom and servitude - awake and dreaming

does not exist

*

A vapor trailed future dusts before me

marvels of wisdom unveiled

I linger to muse until I’m lost in the

Ultimate Consciousness.

flying through uncharted

Patterns tattooed to pupil and memory

through universes cool and inviting

where I give birth to myself

My gaze has strayed out of body

but without alarm I know blinking my eyes

will return me to now for on this journey

I am the unmistakable pilot

But while I am out of body I imagine

real freedom - non-physical - drifting

between lines, planes and solids

a timeless traveler aloft

without benefit of wings

without earthly attachment

I jump the time track

challengeing immutable laws and gravity currents

free from images and symbols and systems of thought

I can see the Earth in it’s devotion

carrying all things

good and evil - nurturing the living

creating its own without error

what man does is self evident

There are no prerequisites to imagination

we come to Earth and leave the same way

by imagining it - we create our life

then create our death with imagination

it is the only faculty that allows man

to create God.
