Listen, hear my confession,

It took me too long to learn this lesson,

You are your own home,

Even when you are on your lonesome.

I have always sought love externally,

When the love I need eternally,

Is the love that I hold,

For myself, which is now manifold.

I now know that a man could leave,

And I would not be bereaved,

For I finally love me, for me,

I will never again be empty.

If you seek home in someone else,

Then home will always be elusive,

Seek home within yourself friend,

To live a life enlightened.
