You are the sun,

Let there be a blockade

By clouds in the city's shade.

You are the rain,

A never-ending bath—

I soak in you again and again.

And if someone tries

To be the waves,

With wandering, restless eyes—

Let unknown ships

Cry out today—

They grieve because you're far away.
