If we could speak again

There was so much left to say, I wish there was some way I could communicate and reciprocate about what there was left to say.

There wasn’t enough words and emotions, there were too many notions left to discuss because I still feel disgust in the way I didn’t get to say goodbye.

If we could speak again I would tell you there wasn’t enough time, you were too young, and I was too dumb to understand that time is short, now there is no time left and we are left apart.

If we could speak again I would reminisce about the good times and the parts of our lives that are now just sores like hives that rest in my brain, time passing feels like it’s constant rain.

I know it was never your intention to leave this life behind, if I could I would rewind the time and tell you not to take that bike ride.

There’s still so much left to say, I just hope someday I can repay the joy you gave me, rest in peace brother, you can’t be replaced by another.
