If Walls Could Talk

If walls could talk,

I am not sure that they wood,

for once they were a tree,

maybe if they were solid as a brick,

or even the walls to a ship,

but even then would they have loose lips?

do walls already talk,

among the men in halls,

or of ancient pyramid walls?

what do these sages

have written on their pages

traversing the sands of time

is it just that we pay them no mind?

or their language is of a different kind?

phase in

phase out

I am sure they would give us a shout

Being One with them

like a Philadelphia experiment

melded and together

surely authors of bewilderment

what if walls really do talk?
