When the world is falling apart,
And time is standing still,
I want to feel your beating heart,
As we tumble down this hill.
Maybe we will be stuck forever,
In a black hole, and maybe we might disappear,
But I could think of nothing better,
Than disappearing with you, right here.
Your heart warms my soul, makes me shudder,
The way you move and the way you speak like no other.
This boundless energy, inside you, inside me,
The way that our strange eccentricities,
Like music, play our melodies.
We harmonize each other's hearts,
even when we are so far apart.
Like Captain Fantastic, you inspire my art,
"From the end of the world, to your town",
That's where I would like to be,
Forever frozen in a sea of tranquility.
Feeling the warmth of your loving arms,
Wrapped around me, forever in time,
I think that's how I'd want to stay,
If I knew the world was ending today.
