If only people talk in the river
I would swim the entire length of your flow,
dive deep into your hidden depths,
carefully analyze the phytoplanktons
and the zooplanktons,
that made you so unique,
that you are able to attrack many fishes.
I will express my admiration
right there and then
so the waves would carry them to you.
But I ain't got gills, just lungs.
and I communicate in person
not amongst the waves.

Lovely work, Kaya! I can feel the watery scene come alive in this piece :)
Oooo, that ending was so powerful! Loved your poem!
