If Only Dreaming Was Enough…

I am not the way I am supposed to be,

Someone advised me to dream about what I am supposed to be.

I am confused to what my dreams shall be,

Someone advised me to look within to discover what my dreams shall be.

I am not seeing anything due to the darkness within me,

Someone advised igniting a lamp of passion to see in the darkness within me.

I am not sure about which skill is my passion in this multitalented world,

Someone advised me to go for a skill that excites you and helps the world.

I am not sure about that skill as it can barely pay the bills,

Someone advised me to enhance that skill until it can pay more than bills.

I am not sure about the time duration for my dreams to be a reality,

Someone advised me that great dreams take time to manifest into reality.

I am not sure that I can wait and keep dreaming,

Someone advised me that it takes persistence & not only dreaming.

I am not sure about the advice that I received,

Someone pointed me to a life of greats & profound wisdom is what I received.

They lived a life guided by dreams and propelled by persistence,

They never abandoned their dreams even failing after persistence.

They adopted a growth mindset equipped with a zeal to grow,

Their luck and effort aligned to fulfil their dreams to grow.

At last, I am sure that it takes more than dreaming,

A life committed to the effort & never dying attitude to fulfil that dream.
