- A poem of lies

If she was me.

If she was who I wanted to be

She would be:

A kind girl with the sweetest heart

A soul who always taught and was smart

Independent and worthy.

Shes trusted and relied on

She's a good sister

She means the words she says to her grandmother on her birthday

She's one who knows what and who she wants to be

She has her driver's licence, is close with her mom, and rarely cries

I wish she was me.

I wish I could be her, this character I created inside my head

But that's a lie.

I don't truly want to be her.

I wouldn't be loved the way I am now.
