If I Could tell You I Love You Just One More Time

If I ever had even a small chance in life

To hold you and tell you once more,

That my love expands the eternal sky

Ghostly rainbows showing all I adore.

I would give up every last day on earth

To climb the one way staircase to above,

Even if only given one day with you

I would shower you with adoring love.

You were my Twin Flame, my other side

And I will never know a love like this again,

You were taken from me way too soon

And I’ve struggled with 40 years of pain.

You were always an Angel, one without wings

The very essence of my Soul’s mate,

I’ve bottled all the memories in gold

Only pouring through them on special dates.

I look forward to the time that’ll be ours

One day I too will grow my wings,

The years have taken their toll

But I know that true love always wins.

So my handsome Angel sitting up high

I can always feel you watching from above,

Please know that all through the years past

My heart is full, for you, of abundant love.
