If hands could speak

Love at first touch

By Mingling with the Moon Published 4 years ago 1 min read

I have only just touched your hands

And I already sense what you may have planned

Have somehow felt them all over my body at once

Know them as though I have felt this before

The familiarity of body as soul

Hands as heart

Just a glass of water with the touch of your hand,

Is enough to have me convinced:

We must have connected in this way before

An offering

This is surely not the first time you have offered me this water

Offered to massage me

Offered to undress me

This cannot be the first time I have held you

Hoped for you

Merged with you

Surely, I have known these hands before

And I am not a believer yet in other lifetimes

However I know hands

I know this touch

There is not much I know, but I know at least this much
